Ahmet Arinc
CIO | DIRECTOR
Ahmet founded Cirera Capital in April 2017 and is the Chief Investment Officer.
Prior to this, Ahmet held high profile roles at Deutsche Bank joining the group in 1998. Most recently, Ahmet was Global Head of FX and Emerging Markets and previously Head of European Rates and Credit. He also was a member of the Deutsche Bank Global Markets Executive Committee. Ahmet commenced his career at Chase Manhattan Bank and has over 25 years’ experience managing emerging market risk; including significant crisis periods.
Ahmet holds a BA in Economics from College of Wooster, USA.
Tijen Gumusdis
SENIOR PM | DIRECTOR
Tijen founded Cirera Capital in April 2017 and is a Senior Portfolio Manager.
Prior to this, Tijen headed trading teams at Deutsche Bank joining the group in 2007. Most recently, Tijen was Head of CEEMEA Flow Trading and a member of Deutsche Bank’s Emerging Market Debt Committee. Previously, Tijen was Head of Turkey and Eastern Europe Trading. Before joining Deutsche Bank, she held senior positions at Citibank, Alternatifbank and Chemical Bank in Istanbul. Tijen has over 25 years’ experience managing emerging market risk; including significant crisis periods.
Tijen holds a BA in Economics and Management from Bogazici University, Istanbul.
